example of convergence
Hi everybody..I guess a good example of convergence would be the Sony Ericsson K850i phone..http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=sg&lc=en&ver=4000&template=pip1&zone=pp&pid=10868
I feel that 3G phones like this one, is a example of convergence because they combine the traditional functions of the mobile phone (which was to mainly make phone calls and send text messages) with functions of other media like broadband internet. With phones like this, it seems like in the near future, we no longer have to worry about missing out on the latest news or have to carry around a laptop just to check our email., since everything can be done on the mobile phone.
